This Group Therapy space is for anyone struggling with social distancing, loneliness, and isolation during this Pandemic.
Sometimes this "distancing" turn into "isolation", physical isolation from the outside world, and emotional isolation from your near and dear ones. Are your struggling to live with their current cohabitants or without them? Feeling not just alone but also lonely, not just distanced, but also isolated, in the lockdown... ?
All these feelings, questioning yourself, feeling sad and alone due to the "new normal"... is all completely normal! You are not alone.
About Group Therapy
Group Therapy is a platform for sharing our stories, our dreams, and our pain, while also creating space for others’ stories, dreams, and pain. Through a listening circle, we offer a safe space for sharing how we feel, and to be heard without argument and judgement.
Quite often, we go through life emotionally alone, without support or understanding. In a safe listening space, we have the opportunity to tangibly experience that we are all human, all growing, learning, struggling and flourishing.
These spaces are 90-120 minutes long and focused on specific areas of human experience that many of us go through.
About Manasi Saxena
Manasi Saxena is a Certification Candidate with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, and has been practicing and living Nonviolent Communication for the last nine years. Her work focuses on the intersection of the personal-spiritual (i.e. inner connection) and community-collaboration (i.e. interconnectedness).
Over the years, Manasi has offered trainings, workshops, and one-on-one listening spaces based on Nonviolent Communication, with big and small groups as well as individuals seeking personal transformations. Her focus as been on personal growth and mental health, including de-addiction and trauma.
